Opened in January 2000, the Zimmer Cancer Center is an example of what can be accomplished when the community comes together to help a good cause. The Cancer Center was designed by teams of cancer patients, doctors, nurses and administrators, and supported through donations from the entire community. The building not only offers outpatient services, treatment, education and support areas, it is designed to help lift the spirits of patients and their families.
