Cape Fear Cyclists (CFC) are conducting a “Ride for Life” in conjunction with the New Hanover County “Relay for Life”.

On Saturday, April 25th Cape Fear Cyclists (CFC) are conducting a “Ride for Life” in conjunction with the New Hanover County “Relay for Life”.

Registration to ride costs only $10, which is your donation to the American Cancer Society. We also encourage the riders to collect additional funding from family, friends and co-workers. CFC is listed on the Relay for Life website as a sponsor.

There will be two rides that Saturday morning, as follows:

· The regular 8:00am CFC Saturday Club ride will be the River Road to Carolina Beach and the Ft Fisher Ferry loop. The only difference is that the ride will start at Ashley High School (instead of the River Road Park). It will also end at Ashley High School in time for the Relay for Life closing Ceremonies and festivities.

· At 10:00am there will be a CFC Family Fun Ride of 8 miles primarily through neighborhood streets. This ride will also start and finish at Ashley High School.

All “Ride for Life” pre-registered participants will receive an event T-Shirt. There will also be an opportunity to register the Friday evening before the ride and that morning also, but we can’t guarantee a T-Shirt at that time. All participants are invited to the Event ceremonies around noon on Saturday as well as free pizza and drinks at the end of the ride.
